Information Musik im Rausch
The concert cycle Musik in Rausch brings classical music into unconventional spaces outside large concert halls. The violinist Deborah Marchetti undertakes musical expeditions with various guest musicians. Music, placed in a different context, evokes new associations, in which closeness arises authentic immediacy. Old and new music is thus led into the third millennium.
Is it white or black in heaven? A playful tour.
In the gigantic hall of the former metal workshop Manegg each piece of music gets its own island free in space. The musicians and the audience are carried through the hall in the wake of voice, play and movement. Seemingly weightless and now and then with a wink we encounter contrasts and attractions: old and new, dark and light, hard and soft, heavy and light, flowing and firm, irreconcilable and comforting – heaven so near and also so far as never before.
